Red Dead Redemption’s Xbox One Bypass Removed

In response to a recently discovered bypass (via. GameSpot) allowing Red Dead Redemption to be installed on the Xbox One, Xbox Support has advised against installing the game using this method, as it could violate Xbox Live’s Code of Conduct.

Xbox’s Code of Conduct states that users may not “use unauthorized hardware or software” or “play a game before it has been authorized for play on the service.” Some who successfully installed Red Dead Redemption for the Xbox One have since reported that the game can now only be played offline, and the game cannot be saved.
