Red Band Trailer for ‘Keanu’ Released

[alert type=”red”]This is a Red Band trailer so just letting you know that it will definitely not be safe for work or children![/alert]

A red band trailer for Peter Atencio’s Keanu has been officially released. Starring Jordan Peele (Wet Hot American Summer, Bob’s Burgers) and Keegan-Michael Key (BoJack Horseman, Vacation), the new comedy showcases rip-roaring silliness and familiar Key and Peele banter.

The sparky U.S duo play two naive cousins, Clarence and Rell, who come into the prompt ownership of tiny kitten, Keanu. After the coo-worthy feline is nabbed, however, the incompetent pair are swept into the underground crime scene. Forced to assume hardened, criminal identities, the dim-witted cousins must gain trust of a notorious street gang in order to rescue their beloved furry companion.

Unfortunately, they hadn’t been expecting gang lords to delight in the adorability’s of small, mewing animals. Soon, everybody wants Keanu, and in the midst of rivaling gang wars, the hapless Clarence and Rell find themselves the unlikely bringers of justice.

Keanu releases in USA on April 29 2016, and will also star Tiffany Haddish, Method Man,  Nia Long and Will Forte.
