Mortal Kombat XL Announced

Prepare yourself if you’re a Mortal Kombat fan, because Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced Mortal Kombat XL, which they’ve dubbed the definitive experience of Mortal Kombat X.

Mortal Kombat XL will include the main game, as well as all of the content available in the upcoming Kombat Pack 2. This includes new playable characters such as the Xenomorph from Alien, Leatherface of Texas Chainsaw Massacre fame, Triborg and the classic Bo’ Rai Cho. It also contains the never released Apocalypse Skin Pack, as well as previously released content containing Goro, the Brazil Skin Pack, the Kold War Skin Pack and the Kold War Scorpion Skin.

XL also comes with the content released in the original Kombat pack. As a reminder, the original Kombat pack came with Jason Voorhees, Tremor, Tanya and the accompanying three themed skins used by each character , as well as the Samurai Skin Pack.

Mortal Kombat XL will be available in Europe by the 4th March for the PS4 and Xbox One. Considering how successful Mortal Kombat X was, and how much content XL is adding, I’m sure fans of the franchise will be entertained for a long time to come.
