Agent Carter Series 2 Debuts New Trailer

Today is definately a Marvel day, what with the release of the first teaser for Captain America: Civil War, however that isn’t all that there is to look forward to.

The first series of Agent Carter was met with a universally-positive reaction, so it was no surprise when a second series was greenlit, and now we have a trailer.

The plot for the second series has yet to be revealed, though this new trailer gives us little hints, with the focus on Carter and Jarvis, in a time before S.H.I.E.L.D. existed and the Avengers Initiative was but a gleam in Nick Fury’s good eye. In one shot, we see a person frozen in ice – remind you of anyone? – with Carter proclaiming that “this case is much larger than we initially thought”.

Of course, Carter is once again played by Hayley Atwell, with James D’Arcy and Enver Gjokaj returning as Jarvis and Daniel Sousa respectively. With the action moving to Los Angeles, this naturally necessitates a raft of new characters, including mob boss Joseph Manfredi (played by Ken Marino), and the big bad of the season, Wynn Everett’s Madame Masque. Dominic Cooper will also reprise his role as Howard Stark.

Series two of Agent Carter will debut, with a two hour premiere, on 5 January.
