Red Bull’s Destiny Codes Come To The UK

When Bungie and Red Bull announced their cross promotion for a Destiny promotion in the US, we players round the rest of the world were understandably a bit miffed. Not only would it seem that people that lived overseas would be rewarded with an unfair advantage in exchange for the caffeinated beverage, but this obviously caused an increase in ebay scalping for the promo codes.

Well now it’s our time to shine (if you like energy drinks anyway), because fans in the UK will now be able to grab their own codes without paying for extortionate prices online. From the 22nd October, you can pick up special cans of Red Bull in ASDA stores and take part in an exclusive quest. This quest will be available to all that own Destiny and its expansion The Taken King. Players will also be able to obtain “focused light” – a one time bonus XP buff that increases all experience gain by 50% for a total of 30 mins.

In order to access the Red Bull content, “You need a level 40 character and you must complete the final mission of Destiny: The Taken King. Then you need to go to the Tower Hangar where Amanda Holliday will offer you the Make the Vanguard Smile quest. Accept it and you’re in!

For more information, check out Red Bull’s Destiny page.
