LEGO Doctor Who Set Officially Announced

With the Doctor making his LEGO debut in the recently released video game LEGO Dimensions he is now getting the full LEGO set treatment.

The set features an opening TARDIS, detachable interior console, four minifigures, the Eleventh Doctor, the Twelfth Doctor, Clara Oswald and a Weeping Angel, plus two buildable Daleks and assorted accessories, including the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver.

The 623 piece LEGO set is the brain-child of fan-designer Andrew Clark who used the LEGO Ideas website to showcase his design. For those not familiar, LEGO Ideas is a community driven website which allows designers to submit new designs for sets which other users can support. If a submitted design receives support from 10,000 fans then LEGO will consider a design for commercial release.

The Doctor Who set is due for release on December 1st with an RRP of £49.99/$59.99/€59,99.
