Steven Spielberg has seemingly revealed that Harrison Ford will star in a new Indiana Jones movie.
Talking to Yahoo! Movies during promotion for his latest movie Bridge of Spies, starring Tom Hanks, Ford said;
“We’ve gotta figure this out because now, Tom is tied with Harrison Ford: Harrison and I did four movies, Tom and I have done four movies. Now I’ll probably do an ‘Indy 5’ with Harrison, it’ll be five for Harrison, four for Tom.”
Back in January, a report on Deadline claimed that Disney were looking at Chris Pratt to take over the lead role for a fifth Indy outing. LucasFilm president Kathleen Kennedy admitted in May that a new Jones film was being talked about, but she “wasn’t sure when it will happen”.
Ford, now 73, last donned the fedora for 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull.
