Dawn of Justice To Be Most Expensive Movie Ever?

A new rumour has suggested that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is in the running to be the most expensive film ever shot.

Latino Review are claiming that the DC Comics superhero epic is currently running a budget of around $410 million, on a par with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which tops the table with costs of $410.6 million.

The ballooning Bats budget is being attributed to the raft of A-List stars appearing, as well as practical sets and the expanded production schedule. However, it appears that the money that Warner Bros. are putting into Dawn of Justice is going to have an adverse effect on the planned Justice League double-header, with the site claiming that the studio have earmarked $500 million for both movies combined.

In case you need reminding, Batman v Superman releases on 25 March 2016.
