We’re going back to the reboot well again, with the news that a remake of classic 80’s series The A-Team is being worked on at Fox TV.
Deadline are reporting that Fast & Furious writer-producer Chris Morgan is on board as executive producer, along with Tawnia McKiernan, the daughter of original series creator Stephen J. Cannell. Sleepy Hollow executive producer Albert Kim will write the new series.
The website reports that the remake will, unlike the original, feature a team that will include both male and female members. Sharing the plot of the classic series, the team has been framed for a crime they didn’t commit and set out to clear their names by uncovering the black-ops conspiracy that set them up.
No timeframe has yet been put on a release date for the series.
