Apple have confirmed when users will be able to download the latest version of iOS to their device.
iOS 9 will be released on September 16 – yep, that’s one week away, folks – coming ahead of the release of the latest iPhone.
Including major updates for the Notes application and a brand-new News feature, as well as pushing an always-listening Siri front and centre, there will also be tweaks that will improve battery performance.
And this year, don’t worry about having to make space for the new update; iOS 9 will only require 1.3GB, down from iOS 8’s huge 4.58GB size.
iOS 9 will be compatible with iPhone 4S and above, the new iPad Pro, iPad Air 1 and 2, iPad Mini 2 and above, iPad 2 and the third and fourth generation tablets, as well as iPod Touch fifth and sixth generation.
