The Flash has been one of the great success stories of the past year for superheroes on TV, with Gotham receiving mixed reactions and Arrow having a very inconsistent season, Barry Allen has his time to shine.
Unsurprisingly, given the cliffhanger which closed season one, the next series of The Flash is set to be something equally special; A fully powered Flash sporting a new suit, the introduction of a multi-verse and the on-screen debut of original Flash, Jay Garrick – exciting times ahead DC fans.
We’re still a couple of months away from the season opener and promotion for The CW show is ramping up quickly. As part of this promotion a new piece of has debuted online featuring our hero alongside fellow Flash, Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) in a live-action recreation of the cover of “The Flash” #123 comic book.
Sears joins a growing list of new stars for the series also including Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, Michael Ironside as Lewis Snart, and Shantel VanSanten as Patty Spivot.
Season two of “The Flash” will premiere in the US on Tuesday, October 6, no word yet on a UK airing date.
