First Look at Gotham Season 2

It’s fair to say that there was a mixed reaction to the first season of Gotham, however Fox will be hopeful that enough people will give it the benefit of the doubt and stick around to see if the second season builds on the highlights of it’s premier season and establishes itself.

To that end, we now have our first look at the new poster for season 2, courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter. And as the subtitle would suggest, it appears that Gotham’s villains are on the rise.

Those Batfans among you may notice the inverted skyline that bears a little resemblance to a more-famous logo, while the young Bruce Wayne is seen investigating the cave he discovered in the series one finale.

Two new faces are joining the cast this year, with James Frain and Jessica Lucas coming in as Theo and Tabitha Galvan.

Gotham will star Ben McKenzie, Robin Lord Taylor and David Mazouz, and will return on 21 September.
