San Diego Comic-Con 2015: Arrow Season Four

A new suit for Arrow has been revealed at Comic-Con.

Worn on stage by star Stephen Amell, the now-sleeveless design more than carries shades of the Green Arrow’s look from the DC’s New 52 series.

Says producer Greg Berlanti;

“We’ve always said the progression for Oliver is very much from the Arrow to Green Arrow. This is first real stop in that direction.”

Amell has also seemingly confirmed that Green Arrow is now officially the hero’s name;

It’s not just Oliver Queen getting a costume upgrade either, as it was also announced that sidekick John Diggle is finally getting some superhero duds (it involves a helmet, according to actor David Ramsey, something foreshadowed in the season 3 finale).

Elsewhere, Captain America actor Neal McDonough has been cast as season 4’s main villain Damien Darhk, while there are two other DC Comics characters that may be familiar to fans; Anarky and Mr Terrific.

Season four of Arrow starts on October 7.
