LEGO Dimensions – Unexpected Worlds Collide

As the days count down to the launch of LEGO Dimensions, we’ve found out about many aspects of the game – such as which characters are involved and how it plays. Well today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have revealed what we’ve wanted to know since the game’s announcement… just how does the world of Batman, Back to the Future, Doctor Who, Scooby Doo, Portal, Lord of the Rings and so much more come together?

We know that the world of LEGO houses not only its own multiverse but many others from the world of entertainment – this much we’ve learnt from last year’s The LEGO Movie. Well in the centre of that multiverse is a land inhabited by the Lord Vortech – and evil mastermind that that controls the very foundation of the LEGO worlds. With the help of various villains he has summoned, Vortech plans to become the ruler of the LEGO multiverse. Taking control of Wyldstyle, Gandalf the Grey and Batman, it’s up to you to travel across the multiverse and stop the evil Lord Vortech.

Much like Skylanders & Disney Infinity, LEGO Dimensions is a toys to life style of game that allows you to purchase new sets to scan into the game.

LEGO Dimensions will be made available on the 29th September on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
