New Batman v Superman Images Released

Less than a week out from the 2015 edition of the San Diego Comic-Con, and excitement is building. With the Marvel Cinematic Universe officially being ruled out of featuring this year – the TV side of the company is representing – many are looking to DC and Warner Bros. to bring the goods on a few of their upcoming projects. The chief one, of course, being Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

And, with less than week to go until the big event, we now have some new pictures from the Zack Snyder blockbuster, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.

The images show our two heroes face-to-face, Henry Cavill’s Superman being surrounded, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne getting up close with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Bats standing next to his Bat-signal, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. The EW cover, meanwhile, gives us a look at the main three heroes in full costume.

Talking about the point of view taken in the film, Cavill said;

“I like to think that Man of Steel was the perspective of the world from Clark, Kal-El, looking at the world and trying to exist with in it. Batman v Superman is definitely more mankind’s perspective of Superman.”

Dawn of Justice also stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher and will be released on 25 March 2016.
