Dan Aykroyd Confirms Ghostbusters Cameo

Dan Aykroyd has confirmed that he will be appearing in the new Ghostbusters reboot.

Aykroyd, who played Ray Stanz in the original film, tweeted that he was on set. The tweet has since been deleted, but thanks to the internet, it will never be forgotten.

This follows a report on Indie Revolver that the actor will cameo in a short scene in which he plays a taxi driver, who utters the line “I ain’t afraid of no ghost!”, only to be corrected by Kristen Wiig’s character.

Ghostbusters is directed by Paul Feig and stars Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Chris Hemsworth and Andy Garcia. It is due for release on 22 July 2016.
