Read or watch any Ron Perlman interview, and odds are that he will be asked about a third outing for Hellboy. And for his part, he has been pretty vocal about a third outing becoming a reality. But now the actor has taken to social media to encourage fans to request the final part of the trilogy be brought before the cameras.
On his Facebook and Twitter accounts, Perlman decided to set his followers a challenge;
Anybody out there wanna see #HellboyIII as much as I do? Let's get this muthafucka trending, y'all! Let's end the trilogy; we earned it!

Knowing the power of social media in this day and age, it is entirely possible that a studio will see the level of demand in a third Hellboy film and decide to take a chance on it. Especially if original director Guillermo Del Toro is willing to come on board one final time.
Since the posts, #HellboyIII has been a top trending term on Twitter and Facebook.
The Hellboy series has so far taken a total of £260 million at the box office.
