It seems being a Marvel star at a time when a major Marvel movie is filming can be a confusing thing. At least for Mark Ruffalo.
Ruffalo – who has thus far portrayed The Hulk in The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron – has admitted that he has no idea if he will appear in next year’s Captain America: Civil War, as he previously teased.
Speaking to Hitflix, the actor revealed that the only person to give him any kind of word on his role so far is Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr.
“If Robert Downey, Jr. says I’m in ‘Captain America,’ I’m in ‘Captain America’ dammit. And I will wait for the day that my call sheet shows up at my doorstep or my script. At this point, I’m told that I’m in it by Robert, which I’ll take as biblical, but I just haven’t heard or seen from production yet.”
Civil War is due to be released on 6 May 2016 and stars Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle and Martin Freeman.
