Suicide Squad Director Says Film Still Has Surprises

One of the biggest constants over the last few weeks has been the almost daily posting of photos taken from the set of Suicide Squad, leading many to question whether we have seen too much of the film for the anticipation levels to still be high. In the last week alone,  we have seen set photos and videos of Will Smith’s Deadshot, Jared Leto’s Joker and Harley Quinn involved in a chase, a scene with Joker and Harleen Quinzell (pre-Harley Quinn, obviously) while Batman’s much-rumoured cameo was also confirmed.

So fans who are hoping that we start seeing less of production in the daily news will take encouragement from a tweet sent out by the movie’s director David Ayer, who has confirmed that exterior shooting has now finished and they can now “go dark”.

Suicide Squad stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Jai Courtney, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Joel Kinnaman and Ben Affleck, and is due for release on 2016.
