First Look at Jubilee and Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse

X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer has taken to Instagram to give us our first look the new movie versions of Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) and Jubilee (Lana Condor).

Those of you familiar with Jubilee from the comics should be more than happy to see Condor sporting the characters signature yellow jacket. Meanwhile, Turner fits the part of a young Jean Grey/Pheonix surprisingly well.

Joining the two actresses in the next X-Men movie are a group of young actors, many playing characters we’ve previously seen in the Patrick Stewart era from the earlier movies. Tye Sheridan is on board as Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Ben Hardy as Angel and Olivia Munn as Psylocke. Oscar Isaac has also joined the cast as the titular antagonist, Apocalypse.

Directed by Singer and co-starring returning mutants Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, X-Men: Apocalypse will open in the UK on 19 May 2016 and the US on 27 May 2016.
