World Premiere Announced for New Assassin’s Creed

Ubisoft have taken to social media to announce that a new Assassin’s Creed will be getting it’s world premiere early next week.

The world premiere for the new game in the successful series will be held on May 12, 9am PDT (5pm UK Time) via a live stream on the developers website.

The announcement was accompanied by the tagline “Oppression has to end.” and a mysterious poster showing the hands of a new assassin crossed with the hallmark hidden blade weapon and a distinctive cane with an eagle’s head.

This is likely to be regarding the next big budget Assassin’s Creed, code-named Victory, which we already know is set in Victorian London, but Ubisoft will no doubt keep that to themselves until the announcement.

You can watch the live stream announcement here.
