A brand-new trailer has been released for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
In front of a rabid crowd at the Star Wars Celebration event, director J.J. Abrams, joined on stage by original stars Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, showed off the trailer for the first time.
Starting with a voiceover by Hamill’s Luke Skywalker, the footage shows off new stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and new droid BB-8, as well as Fisher, the Millenium Falcon, lots of Stormtroopers and new villain Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver.
The 2-minute clip ends in genuine fanboy excitement with Harrison Ford and Chewbacca, with Ford getting the trailer’s final line;
As if you needed reminding, The Force Awakens releases on December 18.
