Lana Condor joins X-Men: Apocalypse

Last time there was a casting announcement X-Men: Apocalypse, we ended up with a new actor to play a younger version of Nightcrawler than we originally saw in 2003’s X2. Well now we have a casting choice for another character from the original X-Men movies, be it one that appeared as a background character.

Newcomer Lana Condor has been announced as the franchise’s new Jubilation Lee – AKA Jubilee, a role that had originally Katrina Florece (X-Men) X-Men and Kea Wong (X-2, X-Men: The Last Stand). The news was announced (once again) via Bryan Singer’s Instagram account:

I’d officially like to welcome our newest mutant #JubilationLee, #Jubilee @LanaCondor to #XMEN #Apocalypse
