The launch of the WWE Network in the UK has been delayed.
A short statement was posted on WWE’s Twitter account, confirming the holdup and that a launch date will be confirmed by 1 November.
The launch of @WWENetwork in the U.K. will be delayed given discussions with potential partners. A launch date will be announced by Nov. 1.

The wording of the statement has led to speculation that negotiations are ongoing for a similar setup to how the service is received in Canada, where the Network is actually available as part of a pay television channel, not in the same way that it is available to customers in the US and other countries. This could mean that if you are in the UK and want the Network, you may have to hold a current Sky satellite subscription.
The original reason for the Network launching in the UK so much later than the rest of the world was believed to be because of Sky’s exclusive content deal they have with WWE.
