Gamescom 2014: The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Coming to PlayStation 4

The Astronauts – made up of former People Can Fly Developers, have shown off a new trailer for their latest title The Vanishing of Ethan Carter for this year’s gamescom. Originally announced for PC release, this horror fiction title has now been confirmed as coming to the PlayStation 4 also.

In the game; you play in a first person perspective to explore the world to find out where a young boy (the titular Ethan Carter) has disappeared. Players will conduct the investigation at their own pace and on their own terms. It’s not a horror game in the sense of survival or massively gory but one with some uneasy, clammy bits, according to studio boss Adrian Chmielarz.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter will be heading to PC and PlayStation 4 from the 26th September.
