Gamescom 2014: Silent Hills Announcement

Creator of the Metal Gear Solid franchise and all round nice video game guy Hideo Kojima has finally gotten his long time wish and is now working on a Silent Hill title, named Silent Hills. Often referenced over the years as his dream project, Kojima took to the stage during Sony’s gamescom presentation to make the announcement.

During its conference, Sony announced and then released a playable PlayStation 4 demo called P.T. Available now on the PlayStation Store, it’s an interactive teaser for the new game. Polygon have reported that when you reach the final scene of the demo, it is revealed that Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) will star in Silent Hills, and then the names Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro appear on screen… wow!

So download the teaser and try it out out for yourself and then maybe let us know what you think?

Currently there has been no release date for Silent Hills or any confirmation if it’ll come to other platforms inside or outside of Sony.
