Gamescom 2014: Quantum Break Gameplay Demonstration

Remedy have finally come out to play – more specifically, they’ve brought their Xbox one exclusive Quantum Break out for gameplay. Yes that’s right, we’ve finally seen some actual content from the long awaited new title from the creators of Alan Wake and it’s all thanks to the Xbox conference at this year’s gamescom.

This first demonstration detailed the title’s time-amplified gameplay, which you can see in the video above.

In Quantum Break, time is breaking down and stuttering, so there will be times when it literally stops. One of the three main characters Jack Joyce, can manipulate time. It sounds like Inception-type gameplay.

Like Alan Wake but without the flashlight and added time manipulation.

The Cinematography Director for the transmedia offering exclusive to Xbox One was hired on as a consultant for the various camera effects so the animators will be able to maintain the same style through both the TV series and the game. television series and game itself.

Each episode will close to 30 minutes each and the first season of the game will ship in its entirety.

At this time there is still no release date Quantum Break.
