Gamescom 2014: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Multiplayer Footage

You may have heard already at some point this year that there is another Call of Duty title set to release this year (also that the sky is blue, the grass is green and water is wet) and you may have also heard that the campaign’s story will feature none other than Mr. Kevin Spacey? But we bet that you’ve not seen the most important part of any Call of Duty title… the multiplayer! Well thanks to gamescom 2014, you can be that little bit more well informed.

Just like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare‘s campaign mode, the keyword is Advanced. Futuristic tech is running wild with new weapons and exosuits, effectively giving the CoD series its first real big shake up in years. But is this breath of new life enough to keep the franchise alive, or are the core demographic of gamers likely to jump over to another FPS like Destiny or maybe even back to Halo?

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be coming to the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on the 4th November and if you pre-order the game, you’ll nab yourself access to its multiplayer Beta a day early.
