A new gameplay video for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – courtesy Hideo Kojima, has been shown off at gamescom during the Sony presentation.
During the video, we get to see some nifty new cardboard box mechanics for the game (well this is Metal Gear solid). If you equip the box and then stand up, there will be a picture of a solder printed on the side that will “fool enemies” into thinking you are one of them (again, Metal Gear Solid). Players will also be able to use other images to various effect, such as a scantily clad female to lure male soldiers towards you (‘sigh’… Metal Gear Solid).
Kojima himself will be hosting an hour long Metal Gear Solid V chat this week which you can watch Right Here tomorrow (13th August) at 19:00 GMT/20:00 CET/13:00 EDT and will contain the latest details on everything The Phantom Pain. A live Q&A session will take place afterward as well as a “few surprises.”
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be release sometime in 2015.
