Gamescom 2014: Hollowpoint Anouncment

Looks like Ruffian Games have ended their relationship with Microsoft and jumped over to the side of Sony. the Crackdown 2 Developer have announced that next title will be for the PlayStation 4. This co-op action title is called Hollowpoint and is a 2D procedurally generated Platformer that can support up to four players.

Players will be able to recruit operatives to build an organisation, which can then be hired by corporate factions. Operatives have different abilities that can be switched out at will. By tackling missions, organisations earn XP and Credits, which can be used to purchase Abilities, Weapons, Equipment, and Power-ups.

The game is playable solo, but will apparently require you to team up with friends to take on the most dangerous and lucrative missions.

Holopoint has only been announced for the PlayStation 4 so far and is expected to be released at sometime in 2015.
