Gamescom 2014: New Dragon Age: Inquisition Trailer

EA’s stream went down for a large majority of people during their gamescom presentation, meaning that most of you didn’t get the chance to see the latest trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition. Fear not though friends, for we’ve got you covered… just look at the video above. A live gameplay demonstration was also shown during the presentation but thanks to the stream’s funny five minutes, it was pretty unwatchable.

The mission shown was a side quest which players could complete to strengthen Skyhold, the Inquisition’s home base. The player, a female human warrior Inquisitor, was accompanied by Blackwall, Solas and Cole. They navigated a large castle area, fighting off undead and rescuing soldiers. It then ended in a boss fight in which tactical view was used to effectively control the battlefield, with the Inquisitor tanking and allies picking off minions.

The soldiers then joined Skyhold, increasing the Inquisition’s effective strength.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is expected on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One sometime in November.
