Big Bang Theory Stars Sign New Contracts

The Big Bang Theory stars Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting have agreed new deals.

CBS announced last week that production had been postponed while negotiations were ongoing, and it has now been reported that new deals have been agreed for the show’s main stars.

The trio are thought to have signed new deals each giving them $1 million per episode for the next three seasons, a total of 72 installments. It is also believe that the agreements include larger ownership of the show, production deals and advances among other bonuses. In total Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco-Sweeting stand to earn approximately $90 million each over the next three seasons.

Meanwhile Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar are still to sign new contracts, with the pair reportedly looking for new deals closer to those of their co-stars.

Season eight of the show is expected to officially start production this week, ahead of a scheduled premiere date of September 22.
