WWE have reinstated Emma following their announcement earlier of her release.
A short message on WWE.com confirmed the news;
Upon further evaluation, WWE has reinstated Tenille Dashwood (WWE Diva Emma) but will take appropriate punitive action for her violation of the law.
It is believed that the company took the decision to reinstate Emma following criticism of her release, and also due to previous incidents involving WWE superstars that did not result in their release. Famously, WWE diva Cameron was arrested for DUI and then tried to bribe the arresting police offer to let her off. Making things worse for her, she then neglected to tell WWE of the arrest, with them only discovering it when it was reported online.

Emma has been released by WWE – 48 hours following her arrest for shoplifting.
A short post on the company website confirmed the release;
“WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Diva Emma as of today, July 2, 2014. WWE wishes Emma the best in all her future endeavors.”
Emma – real name Tenille Dashwood – was arrested and charged with sixth-degree larceny after an incident at a Walmart store in Hartford, Connecticut where Raw was taking place later that night.
The diva reportedly paid for $30 worth of items using a self-service checkout, but forgot to pay for a iPod or iPad case. She was arrested and released approximately an hour later. She did not appear on Raw that night, though her absence was noted on-screen by Santino Marella.
WWE later released a statement conceding the arrest;
“WWE is aware that Tenille Dashwood (WWE Diva Emma) was arrested for shoplifting. Ms. Dashwood is ultimately responsible for her personal actions.”
Dashwood appeared in court yesterday, where she was sentenced to community service and ordered to complete an online course.
