E3 2014: Grand Theft Auto V on Next Gen

Today during Sony’s E3 press conference, a next gen Grand theft Auto V was revealed with improved visuals will be making it’s way over to the newer consoles along with the PC.

If you already own the game on either the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, then you will be able to transfer your Grand Theft Auto Online progress forward to your console of choice – but not your core game progress however. It’s a similar deal to the Call of Duty: Ghosts cross-gen profile saves shown late last year.

Whereas the above trailer was shown off during Sony’s E3 conference, of course no other platforms were mentioned at the time.

It was later confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V would be headed to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC systems in Autumn.
