E3 2014: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Starting off the pre-E3 2014 show with Microsoft’s conference, we’re given a first gameplay look at Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. This short gameplay demo certainly caught my attention, with giant mechs, robotic insect drones, riot shields fashioned from car doors, laser rifles, flying smart grenades that seek out enemies and all the other first person goodness you’ve come to expect from CoD series.

Could this next generation Call of Duty breathe new life into the franchise? Well, hopefully we will soon have some coverage of the multiplayer to get a better idea.

Following the tradition of CoD releases on the Xbox, it was announced that all of the Sledgehammer developed title’s DLC will of course be available first on Xbox One – for a timed period.
