Daniel Bryan Undergoes Neck Surgery; How Long Will Be Out of Action For?

WWE have announced that Daniel Bryan successfully underwent neck surgery earlier today.

An update on the company website noted that the injury as a lingering nerve issue, and that Bryan underwent a cervical foraminotomy to decompress the nerve root.

Bryan is already out of bed and has regained some strength in his hands. Sources say his expected recovery time is 2-3 months, with officials working on a return at SummerSlam.

WWE will announce the state of the World Heavyweight Championship this coming Monday on Raw, being held in London.
