Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Trailer

Forget Ben Affleck and his moody monochrome picture, this is the Batman we’re looking forward too the most!

Warner Bros. Interactive have launched a brand new trailer today in order to show off some of the gameplay mechanics and some other details for their upcoming Rocksteady trilogy of titles, Batman: Arkham Night.

Looking super slick and shiny, this new video shows us the Dark Knight in the usual action we’ve grown accustomed to over the series – like fighting and swinging around Gotham using the Grapnel Launcher. It also details some of the game’s plot (which had been included in the announcement trailer) of how the Scarecrow appears to be the main villain of this adventure, with a voice over threatening to unleash Gotham City’s greatest fears.

Also shown in the trailer is a better look at this iteration’s Batsuit, the new Batmobile, Oracle, Two Face, Jim Gordon, what could be the Penguin and the currently unnamed new villain created by Rocksteady, Geoff Johns and DC Jim Lee. Other characters that have already been confirmed for the Arkham Knight are the Riddler and everybody’s favorite crazy lady, Harley Quinn.

Batman: Arkham Night is currently set to launch later this year on October 14th and will be available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. Pre-orders of the game will allow players to jump in the shoes of Harley Quinn.
