Star Wars: Episode VII Cast Announced

The cast for Star Wars: Episode VII has been announced.

As expected, original stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher all return, along with fellow original saga cast members Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.

Completing the remainder of the headline cast are Andy Serkis, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow.

About the official cast announcement, director JJ Abrams said;

“We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud.”

Episode VII will be set approximately 30 years after Return of the Jedi, and will be released worldwide on December 28 2015.
