The Showcase of the Immortals.
The Grandaddy of Them All.
The biggest event on the WWE calendar, the one show that every fan comes out for, the one show that every WWE superstar knows the world is watching.
A lot has changed in WWE since last year’s WrestleMania. The Rock walked into that event to defend the WWE Championship against John Cena, CM Punk became the latest man to challenge The Undertaker’s streak, Triple H went to war with Brock Lesnar, and Daniel Bryan and Kane were defending their Tag-Team Championships. One year later and The Rock hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since that Mania match with Cena, CM Punk is on a much-publicised self-enforced hiatus from the company, and Triple H is running the company as the tyrannical COO.
Oh, and Daniel Bryan has become the most popular wrestler in WWE.
One year later and Batista is the latest former WWE star to make a major return to the company leading into WrestleMania, another Paul Heyman guy is challenging the Streak, and Triple H stands in the way of the most feel-good ending to a WrestleMania since Bret Hart was celebrating a title win over Yokozuna nearly twenty years ago.
