The Hobbit sequel debuts new trailer

A new trailer has debuted for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Released on the movie’s Facebook page, it rather refreshingly features few scenes from the previously-released trailer, this time giving us more Thorin,  more Elven camaraderie between a returning Orlando Bloom’s Legolas and Evangeline Lilly’s created-for-the-film Tauriel. Oh, and while we don’t get new shots of the villainous Smaug the dragon, we do get to hear Benedict Cumberbatch in all his evil dragon-voice glory.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is released on December 13.

  1. I can’t wait to see this loved last one, and LOTR’s

  2. Same here. I’m particularly intrigued by Cumberbatch’s Smaug. Early indications appear to be favourable.
