The blu-ray release of Star Trek Into Darkness has angered fans in the US.
The general release of the disc contain just seven featurettes – totaling just over 40 minutes – produced by Bad Robot, the production company behind the film. There are plenty more features available, however they can only be obtained through various retailer exclusive packages sold only in Best Buy and Target stores. Additionally, an audio commentary by director JJ Abrams is only available when you purchase the film through iTunes.
Fansite TrekCore has compiled a list of the features available with different retailers, so if you want every feature possible, be prepared to pay out for several copies of the film.

There is also a distinct lack of deleted scenes mentioned anywhere, and there are definately two that are known to exist; Abrams himself revealed a clip of Khan showering when he appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show back in May, and Alice Eve spoke about a clip of Carol Marcus’ backstory during an interview with TrekMovie around the same time.
Australia’s Big W chain are advertising deleted scenes, bloopers, easter eggs and a roundtable – amongst other things – on their listing for the title, but this content has yet to be confirmed to actually be on the discs that Big W ship.
