PlayStation Plus Header

If you are a PlayStation 3 or PS Vita owner then there really is very little reason not to have a PlayStation Plus subscription (except maybe if you have a capped internet plan), the amount of top quality games made available through the service combined with the constant discounts and other perks makes PS Plus pretty appetising.

As we approach the monthly refresh Sony have published their latest offerings for the ‘Instant Games Collection’, due for hit the PSN Store sometime in October:

PlayStation 3

  • Far Cry 3
  • Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
  • Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen

PS Vita

  • Street Fighter X Tekken
  • Touch My Katamari

That’s right Far Cry 3, one of 2012’s greatest AAA titles and ‘Game of the Year’ winner to some gaming sites. Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen has been hit and miss with players, but when it hits, it really hits, so you may want to check that out. Me? I’m looking forward to some Street fighter X Tekken and Touch-My Katamari, for high-class quality gaming on the go.

But wait there’s more, the following titles will be carrying over into October for you to enjoy:

  • XCOM: Enemy Unknown
  • LittleBigPlanet Karting
  • Spec Ops: The Line
  • Uncharted 3

PS Vita

  • Uncharted: Golden Abyss
  • Gravity Rush

  • Stealth INC: A Clone in the Dark
  • The Jak and Daxter Trilogy

PlayStation Plus costs £11.99 just per 90 days or you can put down for a year at the very reasonable £39.99.
