Jack Black Teams with Double Fine Once Again

Double Fine have announced that comedy actor and Tenacious front-man Jack Black will be joining them once again to provide his vocal talents for the developer’s upcoming title Broken Age. Black had previously worked with the company to play Eddie Riggs, the lead character in their 2009 action-adventure real-time strategy game Brütal Legend.

The Announcement was made via the official Broken Age YouTube channel in a special video showing off the vocal artists working on the new title (along with a nice interaction between Black and Tim Schafer):

Along with Jack Black is another Double Fine fan favorite in the form of Richard Horvitz, who voiced Raz in the game Psychonaughts back in 2005 (a character who has since made cameos in other Double Fine adventures, either through voice or facial appearance).

Broken Age was one of the first video game titles to set the bar Kickstarter campaigns and is expected to be released in two parts during 2014 for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and Ouya platforms.
