Cranston Denies Lex Luthor Rumours

Bryan Cranston has laughed off speculation that he has signed on to play Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel sequel.

The Breaking Bad star has been linked to the project, with rumours starting that he has in fact signed a six-film deal to play Luthor. Cranston, however, has denied the bogus claims:

“I’ve heard that. Six? This is all news to me. I think that maybe my name is bandied about because I’m known to be bald. ‘What bald guy can we get?’ The reality is they can take any actor and shave his head or put a bald cap on him.”

The Man of Steel sequel (or Superman vs Batman) is due to start filming next year with Director Zach Snyder at the helm, the release date is currently scheduled for the 17th July 2015.

  1. As Amazing as an Actor as Bryan Cranson is, I just couldn’t see his a a Lex Luthor in the traditional seance. However, I totally think he could pull off a much darker version suited to the Man of Steel/Dark Knight Movies of late.

  2. Its most likely going to be Mark Strong. Don’t get me wrong, he’s great, but I think Bryan Cransyon could give a very different and interesting take on the Lex Luthor character
