Hugh Jackman has reportedly been offered $100 million to reprise his role as The Wolverine in four more X-Men-related movies.
The National Enquirer are claiming that they have heard from “a friend of Jackman” that the actor has been offered a new four-film deal for future films, and is currently in two minds over whether to sign the contract.
“Hugh has a big decision to make. It’s not every day an actor gets offered this kind of paycheque, but Hugh vowed never to lock himself into any multi-picture deals after X-Men,”
“He hasn’t given any kind of answer yet, so at least he’s considering it.”
Jackman has thus far portrayed Wolverine in seven films, including a short cameo in X-Men: First Class in 2011. He is currently appearing in The Wolverine, which was released last month, and will next been seen in character in next year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.
