TPoW Android App 2.0 Released

We at the Palace of Wisdom are pleased to announce that version 2.0 of our mobile app has now been released on Google Play.

The new version comes with a few extras:

  • Improved menu transitions
  • Better integration with our embedded videos – We’ve fixed some of the early teething problems
  • Podcasts by show – You can now find a sub-menu which lets you open up the feed just for your favourite podcast show
  • Easier to navigate through the menus

The biggest news about the new version however is that is now has a completely unique layout for tablet, within the same app. So whether you’re a Galaxy S4 user or a Nexus tablet user this app works for you.

As always you can view all the latest news from all areas of the Palace as well as listen to all of our brilliant podcasts without the need to own an iTunes account.

If you’re already using the app then your mobile device should update the app directly but if not just visit the store and click on the update button.

As always we love to hear from you so get in touch in the usual ways. If you’re having any issues with the app or if you’ve come across a bug then please let me know, I pride myself on fast replies and faster fixes.

iOS USERS don’t worry, the iOS version is currently in development and will feature all of the same functionality so if you’re one of those Apple all-stars that owns both an iPhone and iPad then iCloud will allow you to install on one device and automatically install on the second. Keep up to date on the site and we will let you know as soon as there’s something ready.

For now though I want to offer my continued thanks for your support, we have noticed a surge of downloads over the last week and we hope it continues.
