Apple are reported to have gone on a “hiring spree” for engineers to work on the iWatch.
The Financial Times are claiming that the company have began “aggressively hiring” engineers to work on the device, with Apple looking to address “hard engineering problems that they’ve not been able to solve”.
Additionally, company CEO Tim Cook has reportedly yet to make a final decision on the iWatch, and that it could still be scrapped and not released.
Furthermore, potential problems with trademarking the iWatch name in certain countries has also increased speculation that Apple could consider shelving plans, with the UK and US already having registrations for the name with different companies.
