Next Xbox Games with Gold Titles Leaked?

Dead Rising 2 Header

Apparently the next titles to hit the Games with Gold line-up will be Dead Rising 2 and Crackdown.

According to Polish retailer Ultima Crackdown will be the first title made available for free to Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers, following on from the currently available Assassin’s Creed II as shown in this in this image (below) displayed on the site:

Xbox Games with Gold Crackdown

This follows news from another Polish site (where the heck are these guys getting their leaks?) Xbox 360 Online Centre, who have claimed that Crackdown would be made available through Games with Gold along with Dead Rising 2 in August.

Crackdown was released as an Xbox exclusive back in 2007 and received favorable reviews across the boards, grabbing hold of two BAFTA’s along with a GDCA. Capcom’s Deadrising 2 had also been revived well following it’s release in 2010 and went on to add two DLC expansions.

While Crackdown has remained a faithful and beloved game in my household that I will happily revisit for some Achievement pops, I have never gotten around to grabbing hold of DR2 and am really looking forward to giving it a whirl. But what do you guys think? Are you happy with this pick of titles? Were you expecting something more current like PlayStation offer through their PS Plus subscriptions? Let us know in the comments below.
