New Angry Birds Teased

Star Wars Angry Birds Header

Had enough of Angry Birds? Me too, but some people really like it and are eagerly awaiting for a new title and each update. Well while those feather fans are still left waiting to figure out just what is Angry Birds Go, they may get another edition to the  massively successful Angry Birds: Star Wars with another title inspired by the prequel series of movies (with no actual Hayden Christensen in sight). This new came via the Angry Birds Developer Rovio’s Blog, where they made an  announcement that a new game will arrive on the 15th July (next Monday).

Along with the Release date comes the pretty massive clue of what the next game could be with a teaser image (featured below):

Star Wars Angry Birds Episode I

The image is of the iconic poster for the first prequel in the series Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, a poster that way back in gave us so much brought us so much excitement and hope, which would then become confusion and anger upon the movies release.  Nevertheless, the isn’t about the pain festering away deep inside for the last 14 years, this is about a mobile game where you fling colorful birds at pigs.

On  the blog, Rovio have promised that:

“We’re talking the biggest character line-up ever, awesome new powers, and maybe even a few surprises,”

Star Wars: Angry Birds was released last year and proved to not only be a massive seller but also a critical success too.
