Warner Bros. “considering” Wonder Woman and Aquaman films

Warner Bros. are rumoured to be considering the development of feature films for Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

The Wrap report that with the expected success of Man of Steel leading to the inevitable sequel, Warner are looking at ways to expand the DC Universe, and that includes “kicking the tyres” on Wonder Woman and Aquaman projects. The site claims that “Warner Bros.’ plan would be to release two “Man of Steel” films before moving on to the “Justice League,” a project everyone at Warner Bros. unofficially acknowledges is being developed”.

Clearly, Warner’s plan would be for these solo films to help establish the characters in preparation for an ensemble movie with a revitalised Superman franchise, as well as the already-proven Batman character taking a break following the Dark Knight trilogy.
